Bonfire Night is back, and this year we are taking it to Gateshead International Stadium. On Saturday 7th November 2026, Dunes Event Group presents the return of the Gateshead Stadium Firework Frenzy, a full evening of live music, fairground rides, character entertainment, and a grand finale firework display that is going to be something special.
Doors open at 5pm. The fireworks start at 8:30pm. Standard tickets are £6 per person and children aged 3 and under get in free. Here is everything you need to know.
What Is the Gateshead Stadium Firework Frenzy?
This is not your average bonfire night. The Firework Frenzy is a ticketed evening event at Gateshead International Stadium, bringing together a giant fairground, live stage entertainment, and a huge firework display all in one place. It is suitable for all ages and is designed to be a proper night out for the whole family.
We anticipate this event will sell out. On the evening, any remaining tickets will be available to purchase at the turnstile at £10 per person, so booking in advance is the smart move.
Grab your tickets here before they go and secure the better price while you still can.
What Is On at Firework Frenzy?
There is plenty to keep the whole family entertained from the moment the doors open at 5pm right through to the grand finale.
Live Music and Stage Entertainment
Headlining the stage is local band Whiskey Hollow, supported by a lineup that includes a Taylor Swift tribute act, a K-Pop tribute performance, and characters from Smarty Party appearing throughout the evening. Our resident DJ will be playing all the biggest hits in the build-up to the fireworks, keeping the atmosphere going all night long.
A Giant Fairground On Site
Onsite there will be a giant fairground with thrill rides for older visitors and classic kids' rides to suit all ages. Whether you are after something that gets the adrenaline going or just want to enjoy the fun fair atmosphere while you wait for the fireworks, there is something for everyone.
If you want to see the kind of fun fair hire setup we put together for events like this, take a look at our Kids Fest retrospective from Baltic Square this summer.
The Grand Finale Firework Display
At 8:30pm, the evening builds to its peak with a huge firework display lighting up the Gateshead sky. This is the moment the whole event leads towards, and it is going to be worth every second of the wait.
Tickets and Pricing
Standard pre-sale tickets are £6 per person plus a booking fee, with no charge for children aged 3 and under. If tickets remain on the night, they will be available at the turnstile at £10 per person. Booking in advance is the best way to guarantee your spot and save money.

A Bonfire Night to Remember
The Gateshead Stadium Firework Frenzy is shaping up to be one of the biggest events on the North East's Bonfire Night calendar this year. A giant fun fair, live music, tribute acts, character entertainment, and a firework display all in one evening at one of Gateshead's most recognisable venues.
We have had a busy year delivering events across the region, from Bounce Extreme at Hardwick Hall to Kids Fest at Baltic Square, and the Firework Frenzy is the perfect way to close out the year in style.
Tickets are on sale now. Do not wait until the night and pay more at the turnstile.
